All of her "therapies" and services will be given within the parameters of her regular school day.

We just had Bridget's IEP meeting this morning, and the team is awesome! They are excited and ready to meet/help Alina in the fall :)!

We will have her visit an enrichment specialist once a week beginning in August if it seems like she is ready to do that!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17347490959410472081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2078327224041099639.post-39001287552173058812010-06-01T19:19:51.565-04:002010-06-01T19:19:51.565-04:00So beautiful! I have really enjoyed reading about Alina and her life with your family and this post was so sweet. Love to hear how well she is adjusting to life with your family. She is one blessed little girl to have such a loving family! (Sounds like she is blessing you too, with all of her sweetness.)

Blessings,
Barbara4 boys in AZ.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02137632611658796495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2078327224041099639.post-86588645878426595872010-06-01T00:18:26.323-04:002010-06-01T00:18:26.323-04:00Seriously Lisa, I cannot pop over and read without...Seriously Lisa, I cannot pop over and read without leaving with a huge frog in my throat each. and. every. time. You answered my question at the end...I was wondering if her biological parents knew she was being adopted? I suppose when they sign their rights away that's it, but I have heard in some cases the parents are informed but perhaps if they still have contact. I wish they knew too....I can only imagine it would have been an agonizing decision as you said and wish they knew there is a happy ending after all for their beautiful little girl.... they could not have asked for a better family for her and Lisa...you are such a good mommy!Cherihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08644571627468626304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2078327224041099639.post-39993439553231091052010-05-31T21:23:12.118-04:002010-05-31T21:23:12.118-04:00Thanks so much for sharing this. She is still so self sufficient but allowing us more and more to be her comfort and act like a "typical" kid instead of the caregiver herself. It is amazing to watch their transformation when given some one on one love.babyarniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04801071790359330595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2078327224041099639.post-43037902356354639002010-05-31T20:37:59.162-04:002010-05-31T20:37:59.162-04:00Oh - she sounds like such a smart, active little g...Oh - she sounds like such a smart, active little girl! I love that she washes and dresses herself. My 3-year-old (DS) knows how to take all her clothes OFF... and play with things she finds in her diaper... but has far less interest in putting things on. I love reading about all the things your beautiful little girls do!Bulldogmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773653470602929019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2078327224041099639.post-22126909175266547742010-05-31T19:08:26.869-04:002010-05-31T19:08:26.869-04:00Hi Lisa!
